It appears Self might have been trying to communicate something with him, he clearly was looking the other way before the pass was thrown, so not sure I can fault Naadir entirely but definitely need to be more attentive when on the court.

Because Embiid doesn't do stupid shit on the reg. If he did, people would bash him. Smart has 3-4 gifs per game of him doing something that's outside the bounds of the game.

Embiid's reaction after getting hit in the head earlier this year was to do the very same. Total reflex action, neither of them thought about it.
