None of what you wrote explains the stupidity of "Gotta take Sanchez! Gotta take a QB!".

There's no excuse, short of severe reerunation, for that crap.
and for 10+ years you have had a Super Bowl window.

The Chiefs haven't had a Super Bowl window since the late 60s.

I would take a chance on any QB at any pick at any round over a in the trenches lineman if it means a shot at a 10 year window.

You haven't had to worry about that in over a decade, but when Tom Brady retires we will see what happens to your team.

You don't know what it's like to cheer for a team that would rather trade for a 49ers backup 7 times in 25 years and take a lineman with a top 5 pick than to actually take a chance on a QB, no matter if he sucks or not. Because I know how all the lineman turn out. Ryan Simms, Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, lets hope Eric Fisher doesn't fall into this category and it's only for the defensive side of the ball. But I'll take one failing QB pick instead of 3 or 4 failing lineman picks anyday. I don't even like Sanchez or Clausen or any of these guys, but I wouldn't be as mad I as am over 5 years of Tyson Jackson or Glenn Dorsey until they depart to other teams. 5 years of Eric Fisher until he signs with another team. I'll take a failing QB over a lineman that won't be here after his first contract any day.

Just love being patronized by other teams' fans that have no idea what it feels like...

Excellent posts dude, both of them.

Your team hit the biggest lightning strike in recent NFL memory. You've had one of the best 15 year runs in NFL history.

There is literally nothing you can say that would make any fans of a loser franchse feel like you understand where they are coming from.

You don't draft a shitty player just because you haven't drafted that position in a while. It's not a bad thing to avoid drafting the Blaine Gabberts of the world, for ****'s sake. If you're so mentally ****ed up that you can't accept that, get the hell away from football, or at least change your team allegiance.

Before Parcells/Bledsoe led to Belichick/Brady, we were the shit team in our division. The Jets had a Super Bowl win. The Dolphins had Super Bowl wins and an undefeated season. The Bills didn't have a Lombardi, but they at least had the 4-straight appearances to look at. You guys haven't been in that position since SB4. Shit, even today, the Chiefs can still tell the Chargers to **** off. Hell, you can even shit all over the Raiders, post-2002.

I feel bad that you've gone so long without a playoff win, I really do, because I'd always thought of the K.C. fans as great for the way they made home games such an edge for their team, but you're not the ****ing Lions. Y'all put yourselves on the cross, so for htismaqe to whine about being patronized is just a load of bullshit.

This is a really funny post coming from a Pats fan, because fittingly enough, this is all Scott Pioli did for FOUR years here. Got paid millions to draft a shitty player just because. I could do what he did maybe even better at 1/100000 of the salary. Anyone here could have. I know I'm not better than a real GM like Dorsey. But Pioli did exactly what you just said to me, and you have the balls to tell me to change MY allegiance? hahaha, right.

It's not just that KC has had a long playoff drought.

It's that the Chiefs have tried the same basic formula over and over and over again.

It's not that the Chiefs didn't draft Mark Sanchez. It's that they NEVER draft the QB when they're in position to do so.

Thankfully, the Chiefs are not the Lions. But it's a pretty damn disappointing team to be a fan of over the past 45 years, and especially the last 15.

Does anybody really think that a Super Bowl won before most of us were even born REALLY counts?

Please. Just stop.

I've talked to a few Colts fans and expressed my perfect hatred of their franchise that slipped on ONE goddamn banana peel into another HOF QB right after they were done using the other, BOTH conveniently attained with the 1st overall pick. It's like that team went in a ****ing time machine and figured out the two best years to pick at 1.1 and made it happen. I have no doubt that they'll probably get their next QB the same way.

You know what they said to me?

"Yeah, but you don't remember the years we had to draft Steve Emtman, Jeff George, Cornelius Bennett, and all those other top draft picks to fall in the years of Cleveland Browns-like ineptitude. You don't remember being forced to trade away John Elway."

Yeah? And those ****ers don't remember the Chiefs ****ing around with no playoff appearances from the heart-breaking longest NFL game ever played on that Christmas day in the 70s all the way until the goddamn 1990s. They don't remember picking the one top QB in 1983 that sucked ass. They don't remember strings of terrible and awful playoff losses to their shitty ****ing Colts teams.

I don't give a shit what they had to go through. NO TEAM, not even the modern day Cleveland Browns deserve the strokes of luck they've enjoyed recently. And no team deserves what Chiefs fans have had to go through.

The Colts can take their "Jeff George... John Elway... boohoo" sob story and tear out the next vagina that will produce the next all-time great NFL QB they'll draft with the first pick in the draft. And you can kindly shut the **** up about your pitiful Patriots story before 2001 that nobody gives a shit about.

Neither franchise is the Chiefs. They don't ****ing compare.
