Nah. Dayton did have a week to prepare for them.

I agree, though, Kansas should have handily beat them even with no scouting.

I just disagree with the long held phoglodyte theory that if a team beats KU it's because they "got up" for the game. You know, the Super Bowl theory. It goes hand in hand with "fall away, hand in your face, hail Mary threes" theory.

Actually believing that is akin to believing Spradling, by crossing over so hard that he gave him his real stress fracture. I mean, I like saying it, but we know it's not true.

Sometimes, you have to give the other team credit. Sometimes they make stops because there is real, actual talent on the floor.

Stanford was ****ing terrible against Kansas. If that's how they play in their Super Bowl, I'm glad I didn't watch them the rest of the year.

Would Perry have somehow been less soft with another week? Tharpe more focused/consistent?

They just weren't that good a team without Embiid (although another week would have certainly helped on that front).
