That's true, but that draft probably had a better stock of talent in it. Chiefs were just unlucky to be 1.1 in a weak draft class.

Chiefs were just unlucky to have a kicker to miss a billion field goals in 1995. Or to get ****ed royally by the refs during the Donks' first Super Bowl win. Or to pick the only QB in the first two rounds in 1983 who sucked dick. Or to get snookered by what a bag of shit Scott Pioli really was.

Luck is only a factor if you leave circumstances up to luck. The Chiefs in playing it safe for decades and decades have allowed luck to do just that to us.

It's about ****ing time they made their own luck.
