Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. 1. Crossfitters DO crossfit to train. 2 of the top 20 crossfitters work out at my gym and they actually do the WODs right along with everyone else. They also do other things. That's not so bad. Football players don't JUST play football to get into football shape. I did crossfit + other stuff for a little over a year and I got into the best shape of my life. 2. They do a shit ton of strength work and other accessory movements. 2. a quick google will yield a plethora of results regarding ped testing & crossfit games. not to mention guys I personally know that have competed and told me about some of the supplement strategies these guys were(are) on. You seem to think that people have to be absolutely huge to be on peds, which proves you don't really know what or how they work. Their could be guys at your local crossfit palace that weight 150 and are on peds, you can't tell just by size alone. I dont have a problem with crossfit. I guess I did it for years before it was even popular. We just called it calisthenics & conditioning for football. |

4-5 days a week with weights. If I do cardio it's about 1 mile walk on the treadmill at 3.0. I'd love to say I busted my ass, but I really didn't. It's more discipline with food than it is "hard work". In fairness though I've lifted weights for 15 years straight and just let myself go diet wise. The muscle was already under there; I just had to strip the fat off and maintain the muscle and as I've mentioned I'm on doctor prescribed TRT so that helps to
