Definitely sad and I hope he gets to do a bit of his more risky stuff and isn't roped in. Part of me thinks he's got enough juice to do it his way and if they don't like it he'll be out of work for about 2 seconds.

I know what you're saying, but so much of that persona can't be scripted, and that's a testament to his innate creativity and cleverness. It's not hard to think that he'll be just as successful outside that character
