As has already been pointed out, his "resurgence" in the second half of the year is being way overblown. Still had some shit games in there, still had a pedestrian YPA/YPC.

Personally, I'm just gonna bow out of this perpetual shitshow... either this season proves me right or wrong, either Reid is pushing him to be aggressive or he isnt, let the chips fall where they may.

But oooh GOD do I hope to make some people eat shit if I'm right... swear I'm gonna be a prick about it, too... and why not? all the doubters dont have a problem with it.

We're on the same page here. Except I probably won't be a prick about it. Because christ knows I've been wrong too many times to gloat about being right lol

I don't even think it's fair to judge him this year.

They're asking him to be something he's not, they let his 0 line go to complete $#it, they don't give him any additional targets to throw to, then ask him to produce with one of the toughest schedules in the league.

I'm not a big fan but you can't give a man less and then expect him to do more...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Like I said, the line is going to be a work in progress no doubt and I pilloried Andy Heck last year... but he eventually found a mix that worked well enough and I do think there are enough decent pieces in house to replicate that.

Its all on Fisher.

With the receivers, I wanted something, someone brought in and remain disappointed.

But if even 2 of these holdovers (Jenkins, Hemingway, Wilson?) can take a decent step forward with a healthy Kelce and MAYBE an emerging Harris, then things dont look quite so bad when you consider that everyone has been on the same page for 2 years now.

With more familiarity its natural to expect more consistency.

So if 3 or 4 longshots actually become productive players we'll be ok?

Think about what you're saying. Hell, if 4 scrubs came out of nowhere to be productive players for any offense they'd be good...

I'll either be proven right or wrong, I'm comfortable with the coaching ability and culture that seems to be taking hold here and, well... lets play some games and find out.

The one positive I see here is Phat Andy's coaching.

I'm am so glad Clark has the HC and GM independently reporting to him. I was completely wrong about both of them.

I now love Reid and want Dorsey to GTFO...
