Not sure you can call it Stoner/Doom but I saw Rob Zombie and John 5 on Friday night. My hearing started to come back yesterday morning.

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

Got my tix for the TO show.
John 5 made the show, IMO.

He came out for the first set wearing some kind of alien body armor, complete with green LEDs, and his signature Telecaster guitar was made out of clear acrylic and filled with that yellow/green shit that they put in glow sticks.

I'm deeply in love with the new Water Torture record, Pillbox. Dual bass and drum trio. Definitely more experimental grindcore as opposed to straight up doom, but they've tuned this one low for an even bleaker than usual listen.

I hear ya loud and clear. Right away, this Windham vid reminds me of the stage visuals at the Mastodon shows. I've never been a huge Mastodon fan but I have seen them live a few times and found myself just staring at the backdrop. The graphics and the way they sync them up to their music is incredible. Right up my alley, especially when I'm a bit tuned up.

These bands are gonna run out of old German/eastern European jacked up old films to steal from lol... but yeah, baked, listening live and watching all of this crazy old footage live?
