I don't know exactly how good the Royals infield defense is although I remember escobar being amazing with the brewers with the glove, and I think I heard Moustakas won a gold glove. The giants don't have a gold glove on the infield.

Although as a whole they are very good, I don't think they match the royals.

I don't know of anywhere that the giants are flat out better than the Royals.

Not even starting rotation.
I think I might agree that you could have a deeper bullpen, though I haven't looked. I think our #4 and #5 options are at least respectable. Finnegan was HUGE for us in that crazy-ass wild card game, and Frasor was respectable.

Our 3-headed monster is widely heralded by now, but maybe your 4th and 5th-best relievers are better than ours, I dunno. In any case, your best chance is to chase our starter before 5 so that we are forced to dig deep in the pen.

I remember clearly that series in KC this year. I felt like the Royals were as complete a team we played this year outside of Washington.

I went to one of those games. Even had diamond club seats! It was right after the Hunter Pence sign thing blew up, and we had some hilarious ones. A couple of them were from idiots that were mean-spirited which was not what it was supposed to be about, but most of them were appropriately making extremely mild insults. Is that still going on?

its died down quite a bit. Still see some. But, with the Joe Buck stl love fest, they didn't spend a lot of time caring about Giants related things.

On CsnBay area Kruk and Kuip would point out the signs all the time.

That would be (at least for this series) Finnegan and Duffy. Not sure they are a deeper bullpen than us. I see Duffy being a slightly better version of Petit.

I think the giants have more depth because they have multiple lefties. But the quality of the Royals is ridiculous.
