It's shit like this that really pisses some off here. We can't even discuss a play or what should or shouldn't have happened without excuses and some ****ing reason we shouldn't/can't talk about a play.

He made plays on the final drive. Great for him. It's awesome to see. But he ****ed up on a drive that could have essentially ended the game.

By the same token, if he completes the pass to Fasano, we probably are not discussing this play.

Or, more than likely, if he throws the ball down the field to Jenkins and the pass is incomplete... And then Rivers leads the Bolts down the field to a game winning TD... this very same play is pulled up and everyone is blasting Smith for not making the first down pass to Fasano or Bowe.

And if not that, they would be blasting Reid for his game clock management skills.

It's just the way things are here.

But none of that played out, and we won in San Diego. I for one am happy about that!
