Honest question--besides "Ned is a jackass" and "Ned is ****ing stupid" why doesn't Dyson regularly start?

If Aoki is such a liability in the OF and there's no drop-off in hitting, why is Aoki the one out there every night?

Because defense is 1/3 as valuable as hitting . And because he uses him the last few innings anyway

This really isn't much of an answer, but you are the only one to respond.

Most people are arguing that Dyson is great centerfielder, that Aoki is actually a defensive liability, and they are even offensively.

That would seem to make it an easy decision to start Dyson every day, yet they don't. I'm just wondering what they see that we don't.

Who is saying they are even offensively?

Read thread.
Some comments were made in another thread as well.

I'm not trying to be argumentative. The general consensus seems to be that Dyson is MUCH better defensively and overall is better.
If it is so clear, I wonder why they continue to give the worse player more playing time.

You claimed "Dyson isn't a great outfielder", which is entirely disprovable and dumb even by your lowly standards.

I didn't mean he wasn't good. I think he is. I guess I never saw him as elite. I see he's high on some of the stat rankings, but he also plays a lot less innings than the other guys on there.
