OK, so date #1 was fine and went as expected. Not sure if I want to see her again, because she hasn't even offered to split a bill on two dates and I am not looking to be someone's meal ticket.

I had to race to date #2 though and was 5 minutes late. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Date #3 and I had not made concrete plans, no time or place. It was just "hey I'm going to be in this area, text me if you want to hang out." I had told her what my favorite place in said area was, though.

It was the same place I was meeting date #2 at.

Five minutes into date #2, I get a text. I don't look at it, but I have a hunch it's date #3 telling me where she is. Don't really care, because date #2 is ****ing drop dead gorgeous. The kind of girl I would stare at at the gym but never talk to.

She's also really laid back and our conversation is great. We order drinks and a bite and are having a great time. We talk about Age of Ultron and the Chiefs and Greek food and how I am her first online date and I stare into her gorgeous eyes without another care in the world.

I have to piss so I excuse myself. I still have not looked at my text.

As I walk back to the restroom a table of girls gets up to leave. As I am sidling by them I see date #3.

I am not sure if she saw me, as we didn't make eye contact, but them getting up to leave at the same time I was walking back there is a strong indicator.

I get back to the table and check my phone and the text reads: hey, we're at you're favorite place, come and hang out! The text was sent 5 minutes before date #2.

Would have been very easy for #3 to come up to my table and ruin what was otherwise a lovely evening with #2. We express mutual interest to see each other after thanksgiving. She tries to pay for my drinks, which is the first time that has ever happened to me. I decline and we split the bill.

I delete #3 from my phone and my life forever.
