Get rid of all these worthless players this offseason

AJ Jenkins
Donnie Avery
Mike DeVito (his Achilles' tendon is AIDS)
Mike McGlynn
Ryan Harris
Joe Mays
Chris Owens
Kurt Coleman
Josh Muaga
Jeff Linkenbach
Frankie Hammond Jr
Chase Daniel
Anthony Fasano
Jeff Allen

With McGrath's retirement money that is $20 million dollars to us next year. Cut these AIDS infested failures polluting this team and bring some quality players in.

I love this place. We all thought this team would take a step back this year. We were hoping for .500 but thinking 6-10.
For Reid to do what he's done with the shit he's got... This team lost Berry, Johnson and Devito right off the bat. They'll be fine next year.

CB Chris Owens
DL Nick Williams (must have been a recent garbage pile find)
S Kurt Coleman
OG Jeff Linkenbach
OG Mike McGlynn
OT Ryan Harris
TE Philip Supernaw
WR Jason Avant (unless he turns into something, we'l see)

Cut...

OG Jeff Allen
S Sanders Commings
DE Mike DeVito
RB Cyrus Gray
WR AJ Jenkins
LB Derrick Johnson
FS Eric Berry (likely retirement I'm guessing)
WR Donnie Avery
WR Dwayne Bowe
QB Chase Daniel
LB Joe Mays
LB Tamba Hali

Long list I know...

Would plan to re-sign/tender...
S Ron Parker (and leave him at freakin FS)
DE Kevin Vickerson (only if he'll sign a 1 year vet min contract to allow KC to use the 570k vet cap rule)
LB Justin Houston
LB James-Michael Johnson
LB Josh Mauga
LB Josh Martin (ERFA tender)
LS Thomas Gafford
OC Rodney Hudson
WR Frankie Hammond (RFA tender)
WR Junior Hemmingway (ERFA tender)
TE Demetrius Harris (ERFA tender)
RB Joe McKnight

Free Agent targets currently on my radar... will expand...

ILB David Harris - NYJ (30 years old) likely contract about 6 mil per
OG James Carpenter - SEA (25 years old) likely contract about 7 mil per
WR Cecil Shorts - JAX (25 years old) likely contract about 2.5 mil per
WR Denarius Moore - OAK (25 years old) likely contract about 1.5 mil per
WR Jeremy Maclin - PHI (26 years old) likely contract 7 mil per
CB Devon House - GB (25 years old) likely contract 8.5 mil per

*likely contracts are my guess based on other contract/performance but may not be accurate

With cuts, Chiefs can likely afford about 7-8 million in free agency.
With re-signings and current roster, Chiefs would be at 45 players. Have 11 draft picks. Can add dumpster signings and 1 or 2 decent FA.

Could free up 1.95 mil with Fasano, 1.75 mil with Walker, 5.5 mil with Sean Smith if they wanted.

More drinks to come.
Keep Mauga and JMJ? Have you seen the run defense this season? They are both horrible at reading and reacting to the run.

idk he played pretty well against Peyton Manning, the refs, and Demaryius Thomas... What the **** does it matter about a playoff liability if we can't make the playoffs anyways?

The unbelievable part is that we are sold that we are somehow cap-strapped with this roster. The Broncos can somehow afford Peyton Manning, and sign free agents like Ware and Sanders in addition to keeping a better all-around core of players. But the Chiefs are the ones who are cap-limited and have to sign players off the scrap heap just to field a team.

This.

It's all in the structure. The Hunts DONT like handing out huge signing bonus to sign another team's free agents to offset the cap hit. That strategy eventually gets you - and Denver will be up against the cap this off season, BUT the cap usually rises every year which can alleviate some of the hit.

This argument is ****ing stupid. Bowe is the only WR on this team doing anything. His lack of usage is a fault of Reid and Smith.

Or he can't get open......

all of his catches are slants and stop routes. We pay a guy 11 MILLION to catch slants and stops, and with no separation.

We pay a guy $68 MILLION to not throw more than 20 yards down the field.

First, last night he had quite a few completions past 20 yards.

But, how many QB's could do anything last night? He was pressured immediately every play, and when he wasn't, he made plays.

When Bowe is your #1, you need A LOT of time to throw. Alex has 2-3 seconds.
