In a game like this, Smith sees an all out blitz in front of him. He doesn't audible, he doesn't get rid of the ball, and he almost takes his team out of FG range because of the sack. Sanchez would be proud.

The play call was a bad match for a heavy blitz but it was right in front of Geno and a sack can't happen. Gotta throw it near someone and take an incompletion.

They miss the FG following the sack. This game is so bad that it's almost Homeric.
