That's why I made it multiple options. A season of failure is never on one person.

I agree, Alex is exactly what everyone expected.

I'd take them all over Reid, especially Arians.
Clark doesn't go after the best candidate, he goes after the biggest name.

Arians would be doing very well in KC I suspect.

Although I prefer the Coryell/Zampese scheme by a wide margin, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the WCO offensive scheme.

The 2014 Chiefs would have sucked in any scheme due to injuries along the offensive line, a suspension of an otherwise solid player, below average WR's and a QB that only plays it safe.

True. But I'm sick of short and (sickly)sweet. MOAR vertical, and the personnel to perform it, please.

Andy threw it deep in Philly. McCarthy throws it deep in Green Bay. Payton manages to throw it deep in New Orleans.

If you watch KC now, there are WR's who break open deep. There are deep plays to be had.

It's not the scheme.

The scheme is just an excuse for Alex being a wuss. There's throwing short a lot and there's completing 6 passes over 20 yards (in the air) in 14 games.

Except for the fact it's overly complicated and inefficient, sure.

Right.

Quick question.

Who leads the NFL in QB efficiency, and what offensive system do they run?
