Sometimes I'll be in a crowd and somebody will point at me and wave, and I think they're pointing at me, but then I'm not sure because they could be pointing at someone behind me. So then I don't know whether to wave back and possibly look like a fool because there's some supermodel behind me who's already waving back, or not to wave and possibly look unfriendly because they really were pointing at me. So in those cases I just nod in a manner that looks like I'm acknowledging them if they're looking at me, and that could be written off as a random movement if they're looking at someone else.
