Beamer I think will be encouraged to retire at VT. He just doesn't have it anymore.
If Beamer does leave VA Tech goes into the dark ages for decades...it will be the end of that program for a long time.

When Al Golden is fired next year and Butch Davis returns Miami will be back and bring some needed firepower to the ACC.

That and Devin Smith's "non-TD." He was in if you ask me. A few others questioned it too. Difference in the game is that and the turnovers or it might be about 27-7 OSU.

I don't think so. That athletic department has been gutted like a fish.

Clemson always starts out strong and then seems to fall off toward the end of the year. Having Sammy Watkins last year definitely helped, he and he alone spanked OSU in the Orange Bowl last year. Tech is triple option...it's just not a national championship style of program. They were better back when Omegatron was there...

Hopefully the big 10 earns some respect back. Great showing this bowl season. Regardless of how this game ends, I think osu showed they can compete with the best. An experienced qb away from being a solid contender.

I break my KU friends' balls about Mangino coming to KSU when Snyder retires.

Stoops would be an epic abortion without 4 and 5 star talent everywhere. KSU needs a miracle coach.

ACC is definitely a rotation, but with Notre Dame now it helps. Seems you have Florida State, Clemson, Louisville, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech in a rotation of sorts. No long-standing powers in that conference anymore. Its not like 'Bama, Ohio State, and so forth that are pretty much good year-in and year-out.

There is a good deal of talent in VA, the trick is to get it to stay in VA and not go to Penn State, WVU, and Clemson.
