Based on what we saw, adding 5-8 to the playoff would eliminate most to the controversy...we're talking about 3 loss teams at that point. I guess the only thing that would be controversial would be seeding. If it were 8 today, I wouldnt mind OSU being 5,6 or 7...they would have taken care of business.

No need to go all night...the game was played. In the past, it would have never happened. That's the whole frigging point! Play the game, the winner goes on. It's too bad it wasnt 6 or 8...I would have LOVED OSU to play TCU or Baylor.

How do you even know that? Because they beat up an sec schedule that didn't have a good bowl showing? The point of a playoff is that it's tough to judge conference strength until you put two teams on the field. I seriously can't believe even after a legit win against the #1, osu would have to defend themselves to anyone. Especially after the b1g went 3-1 today with their top 4 teams.
