It would be one thing if the call was a terrible penalty...but the call on the field was accurate and they had no reason to pick up the flag....20 seconds after the play.

I actually think it was a penalty even with the old rules. He was faceguarding the whole way. Never even turned to look at the ball.

But the real controversy is they actually went through and called it and then changed their mind. Just looks terrible.
