Mayo or Miracle Whip?

Growing up, I noticed almost every household was either a miracle whip household or a mayo household. Very few had both. Which side was/is your family on?

I know there are several companies that make mayo, but I think Kraft is the only maker of MW. Kraft mayo is bad. I don't know how they do it, but their recipe needs to change.
Miracle Whip is a product name owned by Kraft. However, it's the same stuff that is called "salad dressing" by other companies.

BTW, when I was a little kids, my grandparents would have a 'salad" that was some stacked lettuce leaves with a thick slice of tomato on them. This was topped by a big glop of MW like salad dressing.

They are the only people I've ever known to actually use MW as a salad dressing.

I thought those jars of "salad dressing" were private label or store brands. I've never seen "Hellmann's Salad Dressing" or "I Can't Believe It's Not Miracle Whip."

Miracle Whip is for people that like their tea and coffee sweetened and probably drink Dr. Thunder.

I don't think it has anything to do with race. It may have something to do with your income level though, because I'm pretty sure MW is a bit cheaper than your Hellman's mayo.

To be fair, I have regular mayo and MW in the fridge at the moment. The wife loves MW, I am not exactly a fan. The only time I consider MW as an option is for really shitty Carl Buddig type turkey sandwiches. She uses it to make deviled eggs and puts it in her chicken salad, which I find disgusting.

I'm going to try that.

The only sandwich I really use mayo on is turkey. Well, and chicken salad.

The other lunchmeats I would use either mustard or oil & vinegar.

He always made them and finally I caved in after his constant begging. It was pretty damn good.
