According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I have a hard time believing Tom Brady, thought by many as the BEST ever, couldn't notice his ****ing football was deflated by 16%

Who ever said that was the Patriot Way? I have never heard of that stuff outside Pioli.

And as has been mentioned a million times through all of this the football feels vastly different in different weather conditions so being able to feel 1psi difference and know its in the "illegal" area by feel is ridiculous.

The refs who handle the ball every single play of every single game they ref couldn't tell.

I am not saying Brady didn't know as much as I really don't care and has zero reason to admit it.

The Patriot Way is a very controlling way of doing business. Maybe not as maniacal as Pioli, but controlling. The answer to your question is, do you think anything slips past Bellichick or Kraft? Do they strike you as 2 people who have no idea what's going on in their organization?

And yes, given how much Brady has talked about a specific feel for the ball and how many QBs have chimed in on the subject, and given that Brady is known to have major attention for detail, it's shocking if he didn't notice. And yes, I would expect a QB to know a hell of a lot more about the feel for the football than the refs.

In fact, in his press conference last Thursday, he even admitted to preferring a certain PSI at one point - before contradicting himself later by claiming he can't tell a difference, of course, knowing full well that his previous statement was incriminating.

I don't think Bellichick is going to know if the deflation went on because he won't want to know. Its called plausible deniability and he is smart enough to know that.

As far as the control freak stuff, yea I am sure he is all over football operations, I have zero doubt Bellichik cares WTF goes on in the admin offices like Pioli did. It doesn't help him win football games.

Like I said Brady probably knew the balls were being deflated because someone has to request it right? That's most logical explanation isn't it? We aren't implying Bellichick told Brady how he likes the ball are we?

If so Brady has no reason to admit it if they cant prove it and the fact is very few people will care if they find out Brady was the source.

If they figured out a way to cheat that gets them to this level and all that's been busted is a few psi in a football and some walk through filming then I am pissed as hell my team wasn't that smart.

Thats way easier than drafting well and game planning.
