Pats Cheating Comfirmed

According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

and don't get me wrong, I'm sure the Patriots found some sort of ridiculous "loophole" or some way to "interpret" the rules because they are a complete scumbag organization ... but the fact they apparently have received a competitive edge ever since the NFL let QB's start preparing their balls sickens me...

Tom Brady became an elite passer as soon as he started prepping his balls for game day.

The Patriots have an impossible trend in not fumbling the ball since that time as well.

Yeah. Ok.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck ... it's probably a moose. Right?

I'm gonna guess they didnt check every ball with a psi guage pre-game...

I really dont know why, its just a gut feeling....

it would explain how this happened ....and then they realized they ****ed up and checked them all at half time...

thats a guess anyway...

at this point I really wouldnt be surprised with anything......except the one thing I dont think is physically possible is that ballboy unloading 12 balls onto the bathroom floor, deflating them 1.8 psi each, and reloading them into the bag and zipping it up.....in 90 seconds then walking out like a pimp

it has to be something else

so

the report that concludes the Pats have not fumbled at almost an impossible rate since the NFL started allowing QB's to 'prep' their footballs

you conclude that's pure coincidence?

It's just a scumbag organization.

All I know is that the NFL is doing a poor job handling this with all the leaks and misinformation being thrown around. Biggest game of the year for them and the main thing being discussed is cheating.

Cowherd was making fun of this yesterday ... talking about Amendola who was a fumble waiting to happen in STL ... comes to NE ... stops fumbling. Blount? Leaves NE. Fumbles. Comes back. Stops.

He was laughing about it.

The Pats have been manipulating the ball to gain an edge since Spygate. Is this the Pats fault or the league's fault? I lean both. I think the Pats are a total scumbag organization, though ... and everything they've done since their "dynasty" should be asterisked. Makes me want to puke.

Who said they took all the balls out of the bag? Just unzipping the bag gives you access to all the balls. Having a needle with a guage attached to it can be inserted into each ball and 2 psi can be relieved in a few seconds. The attendant had plenty of time to get all the balls properly deflated.

Yeah....I never really thought about how long they've been deflating the balls outside of this season until the fumbling stats came out. You can't ignore that.

To me....it comes down to the Patriots cheated by spying on teams until they were caught. Once they got caught....they found something else to manipulate so that they can win.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brady retire and Belichick to be out in a year or two as well.

I honestly hope they lose this game ... and the NFL lays down the gauntlet. I realize it won't happen, but I hope BB, TB and Kraft all go down hard and get super embarrassed about their ridiculous press conferences held about this entire thing the past 10 days.

This is why I was saying that investigative reporters diving into this was the worst thing that could happen. They did it to themselves by not being forthright.

I truly think Seattle will win, but I can't tell if that's just ultimate bias for me, for once. I also didn't think there was a chance in hell Seattle would lose to Green Bay and they basically got crushed ... and then pulled out a miracle.

I just think Seattle is a terrible matchup for New England. I don't want to hedge my Super Bowl bet I have on Seattle but I also don't want to be miserable the entire time if New England beats them

The fumbling stats are the absolute hammer in the nail of that franchise. It's otherworldly.

Well, time for Pats fans to add another "jealous hater" to the long list of them.
Then there's that other physicist who claims the Patriots "punishing running game" can deflate the ball.
