Bennett had more receiving yards his rookie season than Green has his whole career.

His college days are long behind him. He started 9 games last season for the Broncos and managed to only be targeted 6 times for 74 yards receiving and a 1 yard TD pass from Osweiler. With all of that ability to be a vertical threat at TE you would think he would have been drafted higher than the 7th round and would be able to manage more than 74 yards receiving in 13 games with Peyton Manning. Might as well just line up a 6th lineman and make him eligible to receive.

Thomas and Tamme were the primary receiving threats featured at the position. I'm not arguing how often he was used, I'm arguing that the guy can catch the football.

If he was a reliable target wouldn't you think he would manage to have more receiving production than a guy who didn't start a single game?
