Pats Cheating Comfirmed

According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

Tom: 24 of these.....one, two......24 balls? WTF?

Equipment Guy: Yeah, which 24 do you want?

Tom:

So is he picking 24 out of 50? Out of 100? Are they out on the practice field? In a room? Are they then checked for PSI by the equipment guy, or (more likely) does the equipment guy say "Tom F'n Brady approved these -- I will put them in a room until I give them to the ref. I will not mess with Brady's approved footballs in any way. If the refs increase the air pressure, so be it, but I ain't messing with them."

But yeah, once again, NOBODY KNOWS. And until last week, nobody ever gave a rat's ass.
I think it's likely that he'd specify the 12 he likes the best, within a set of 24, because those 12 will be the set that is used for play unless something goes awry and the backups are needed.

Also, I don't know why you keep talking about how no one cared until the AFCCG. Is it really surprising to you that people started caring about a subject right as reports came out about how one team may have been cheating regarding that subject?

I think I still side with Joe Montana and Troy Aikman ... but I tend to trust hall of fame QBs more than I should.

Thats because it's not a scandal YET. But sure enough the Americans won the Olympic swimming events because of their super fast suits. Receivers will start attaching velcro to their gloves.

I don't know, man. I'm starting to lean towards the Buc fan claiming to be a Pats fan and the grown ass man who got pissed because someone changed his name on a message board. They post a lot of links.

Again, the sense that I got from the different QB interviews is that a large set of balls are used all during practice and warmups, then at the end of the session, the QB picks out the ones he would like to play with that game.
It's possible. That doesn't make sense to me but again, I simply don't have a clue.

Yeah, ****. I didn't take all of that into account. Some of those blog links did bleed with credibility.

hey ****ers! You guys are ignoring my maths!

And I'm still pissed I got no credit for getting the math right when most of the media pundits (Nye, Tyson, etc) got it wrong.

No respect!

Oops, looks like I was wrong. The balls don't get inflated by the teams before practice. They get inflated to 12.5-13.5 psi by Wilson before they leave the factory.

Even if one agrees with Joe on it being a stupid rule, that doesn't mean it's ok to break it.
