According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

So, in an attempt to claim they were taping walkthroughs, you're using a quote that was made to point out that they were not taping walkthroughs. I'm not saying you're doing it on purpose, but the Czarnecki was.

Regardless of whether McDaniels was referring to video taping walkthroughs or video taping signals; the point remains that those two were in fact caught for video taping walkthroughs

It is all very suspicious that this happens shortly after McDaniels leaves New England, and again with another former New England employee, to think it is just a coincidence

He had to of learned it somewhere
The fact the Patriots also hired him back no problem to me suggests they don't have an issue with that behavior

This is the problem with discussing this issue. Your "gotcha" gets exploded, so you just move the goalposts.

And only one person, not McDaniels, was "caught" for videotaping walkthroughs, and he was "caught" by the Broncos, not the NFL.

Steve Scarnecchia taped a walkthrough. He brought it to McDaniels. McDaniels refused to look at the tape. The tape was never used. Denver got in trouble because McDaniels, and the Broncos, didn't snitch fast enough for Goodell.

Do you think the Patriots would risk a chance of that happening again? I don't.

Even if not true, half-true or anything else it would be bad Public Relations and I don't think Kraft want's that. Kraft is a good businessman and Josh is a good OC.

McDaniels' defense was that he did not tell Scarnecchia to video tape the 49ers' practice, distinguishing it from New England, where "that was practiced, that was coached, that was worked on."

He makes no such distinction between what was actually taped in Denver or New England.

Well we know the Pats did tape signals, cause BB openly admitted it in 2000. Again, he didn't see anything wrong with it if he openly admitted it. League had to clarify rule in 2006 as well. So McDaniels may have learned it there. Doesn't mean they're still doing it or walk throughs.

No, my contention the whole time is that McDaniels and the other former New England employee got busted for doing something the Patriots have also been accused of doing

Honestly, if it was the Chiefs I wouldn't dignify it by even responding. I'm assuming the history of cheating has them feeling defensive. Not sure why. This by all accounts looks like a legit title.

What is this "history" though when all that can be claimed is one incident—Spygate?
