BIG CAT

All the negative talk about Catapano not being in shape should be put to bed. Its a shame he missed the season last year but shit happens....this guy is a SERIOUS athlete!

Yesterdays video of him here at Parisi Speed School in New Jersey shows him jumping onto a 56 inch box weighing over 290 lbs! Also this was minutes after a leg and back workout where he was deadlifting over 600 lbs. Only other guy over 290 I know of who can jump this high is JJ Watt. So say what you will but obviously the guy is back 100% healthy and training for next season.

yes better than BOTH as a pass rusher...you heard me correctly. Poe is the BEST NT in the entire league and a complete anomaly, and he good as a pass rusher, especially for a nose. He is a franchise player and cornerstone of the defense. Bailey is a very good run stopper. But as far as pass rushing ability Catapano is a legit highly skilled QB hunter...its a specific skill set. He just hasn't got his game time opportunities yet, its that simple. The comments on here and lack of reality is so ridiculous its amazing. Watch what he does in 2015 and you'll see. Until then make fun of me all you want.......but if you're gonna do that then you should also man up and give me props when he breaks out as the team leader in sacks among d lineman. double digit sacks in fact. I'll leave it at that.

Catapano had the highest qb disruption rate of any of our interior lineman in 2013. The guy is a physical specimen. i know most here have been let down by this franchise for many years if not decades, but he's shown enough to warrant optimism. is he going to become the next jj watt? well no, but he can become a very good player.

its the good stuff of course....makes you think all positive unrealistic type thoughts. Everybody else out here saying the guy has aids and weighs 210 and will get cut lol and I'm out here saying he's gonna have double digit sacks as a lineman in 2015. So its good stuff for sure.

However WHEN this kid has double digit sacks THIS season i'll sell you some if you want....but just know its gonna be more pricey then.

I still say that concussion was from that sledgehammer rebounding up off the tire. Bet it caught square in the forehead knocked him cold. It sure wasn't from seeing much playing time. Your profile says personal trainer. Maybe can sell juicers for Jack LaLane.

I have hope for all Chiefs players. He should be brought back and given an opportunity. They have invested, small or not, in Catapano. The roster expands up to 90 lets see what he has to bring. If there are problems he will get released.
Now a dude jumping on a box is not some big whoop-tee-doo. It doesn't prove he is healthy. It doesn't prove anything more than the dude can jump up on a box.

He'll get his chance in camp to prove he's something more than a 7th round pick, as he should. I'm not holding out the hope some on here are, but I guess the box jump shows his EXPLOSIVE ATHLETICISM!! That's what we're supposed to be all juiced up for.
