I don't really consider tournament success to be a good barometer of anything one way or another. I consider the seed you get and regular season results to put you in position for success to be more indicative of coaching ability. Nonetheless, he's done a decent job in all honesty.

The Cliff thing sucks for several reasons. We need bigs against Texas, the NCAA is painfully slow so he might might not be back before the confernece tournament or NCAA tourny, and its a nudge for him to declare for the draft after this season.

KU is holding out hope that they can prove the agent didn't contact Cliff personally, which would possibly retain his eligibility. But from all indications Cliff doesn't like it in Lawrence, doesn't like small towns or school, and wants to start making some $$. Hard to blame him but man, wait a month bro.
