And I feel the same way about Fringe. Hell, I think I like Fringe even better. Walter might be my favorite TV Character of all time...

I watched every episode of Fringe but the writers just couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be about. Aliens? Multiverse? Time travel? Monster of the Week?

At its best, it was nearly as good as the X-Files best seasons (1993-1997, IMO). When it was at its worst (the final season and other episodes), it was Disappointment TV at its finest.

Fringe, Alcatraz and LOST are the reasons I will never, ever spend even two minutes watching a JJ Abrams produced television show, again, and the only reason I have any misgivings about Episode VII.
