We're a desperate sad little fan base.

I hear stuff like this time, and not just on this site, and I don't get what value it has? How many fan bases do you hang around where you hear a ton of their die-hards talk for months or years at a time? I live in NJ so maybe I could say that about Jets and Giants fans but even then I'm not in a message board, I'm just listening to a small sample size or sports radio which is a joke of a sample.

Not trying to rag on you. It's a common thing that is said, but I just don't know what it really even means. I am sure if you hung around other boards you would see a ton of hype over mid-round picks. Are you really telling me you have perspective on a ton of fanbases and can say that we are more obsessed with 3rd rounders?

Don't get me wrong, we are sad in plenty of other ways, but this is a pretty hollow comment.
