What's fascinating re: the SECN is that Mizzouche got 5.5m this year. In the Big 12, they had a very good Tier 3 deal that paid them almost $4m in 2011.

If you and the rest of the Mizzou fanbase are living in the stone age, I feel sorry for you.

I watch the Royals in HD every night live through my 50" TV via the MLB At Bat app. The Jayhawk Network broadcast just as nicely via ESPN.

Time Warner and IMG pay Kansas more than ESPN pays Missouri for this third tier service and it is in more homes than the SEC Network.

One thing is for certain, if you don't have an internet connection to your home then KU doesn't care about you.

Obviously this includes the PGM household.

Well it's there and the University is being paid for it so that's all that matters.

No one watches the SEC Network either so who really cares?

The SEC needed a network that was separated from the national ESPN networks in order to get all of their games on TV.

The Big 12 already has all of their football games televised on the national platforms (except for a few of the non-con games that get to a school's tier 3).

I think everyone's happy in the end with how things have turned out.

SEC Network games are televised nationally.

Big X games being "televised on the national platforms" (such as a game being televised on a regional fox sports affiliate and available to some people in some geographic areas) is not the same thing, but I don't think you are actually confused about that.

I don't think so. Fox Sports 1 and 2 are national and any game put on regionally ABC goes to mirror on an ESPN channel.

Just like Texas A&M vs SMU did last September.
