Two 1st round picks for Russell Wilson in '16 and '17 or '17 and '18

Do you sign the offer sheet if the Seahawks non-exclusively tag Russell Wilson?

Pole cumming.

and that's what I'm saying ...

trade Wilson to a contender for 2 1sts and it's not like you're going to be getting 2 top 5 picks back in return

Is that even legal? Or is there like an NBA rule built in where you can't trade picks that far into the future?

Hypothetically, I'd give our next two DRAFTS for Russell Wilson.

I have Seattle on every Sunday afternoon as my primary game but switch around occasionally to the Red Zone channel. I've been a fan since Pete was hired.

I only posted his correct age and made no further comments, so I don't understand what's so funny.

Right, agreed that it's more of a no-brainer for Wilson.

It's a no-brainer for Brady if you think you're on the cusp and he puts you over the top. 2 1sts for a guy whose game might decline and who could be retired in 3 years wouldn't necessarily make sense otherwise.

I will say this -- Brady could break all the rules when it comes to QB longevity. We'll see, but he's described as a complete psychopath when it comes to eating/working out etc., and we know that running isn't part of his game.

He will be 38 this upcoming season. Five years from now he'd be 43, and it's impossible to imagine a QB playing at a high level at that age but nobody has won much money betting against Brady these last 15 years.

How in the world someone wouldn't want Wilson to lead their team, especially a team like KC who hasn't won a playoff game in 20 years, is beyond me.
Cherry picking Wilson's best playoff game is kind of silly.

Once again, Wilson is 100% reliant on his defense to win games. If their D doesn't completely shut down their opponent, the Seahawks don't win.

In Seahawk wins, opponents score an average of 11.8 points per game.

In Seahawk losses, opponents score an average of 24.6 points per game.

Like I stated above, if the Seahawks don't completely shut down their opponents offense, they don't win the game.

And for the record, I am not implying that Russell Wilson is not better than Alex Smith. He is. And he will probably improve. But currently, he is much less than people make him out to be.

They literally have as many misses as anybody. Difference is, they have Aaron Rodgers.

You can keep pretending Seattle wins because of their defense and Marshawn Lynch ... but how many games was Marshawn Lynch winning Buffalo? How many games did Larry Johnson win us?

This website has LITERALLY spent the last 9 years of my life (join date 2006) BEGGING for a QB because, AND IT'S TRUE, if you want to consistently win your division and put yourself in the position to be a champion, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FRANCHISE QB. Plain and simple.

...and now suddenly Seattle wins despite their QB. Maybe not even despite, but they win because they have a great defense and a really good RB.

So apparently, Schottenheimer was right. No?

It is so ****ing ridiculous to discredit Russell Wilson and not recognize how amazing he has been and how he has LED his team to a Super Bowl title, a Super Bowl runner up, and another playoff win + two LEGENDARY performances in losses. 6-2. Three years in.

THE CHIEFS HAVEN'T WON A ****ING PLAYOFF GAME SINCE I WAS 8 (1993).

...

AND MORE PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE WOULD RATHER HAVE TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS THAN RUSSELL WILSON.

omg

You just ... can't ... be ...

my head might explode

...and you're a Chiefs fan, who has not seen a playoff win since 1993

...and you'd rather hang on to two Glenn Dorsey's than "take a chance" on a 26 year old Super Bowl CHAMPION with a 6-2 playoff record

because MAYBE he isn't Tom Brady

You've sold me.

I wouldn't give Donald Stephenson straight up for Russell. Stephenson was drafted before him, after all. I don't think it's fair.
