Every Boston team has had an amazing player during my lifetime that gave me that feeling. I wouldn't want to deny any fanbase that opportunity, well, other than NY. **** those guys.

(as long as Boston has it too, of course, but I'm sure nobody shares that sentiment, and believes we should go 100 years without any championships, which I can't really blame you for)

In 2015, it's the only way to build a team.

Franchise QB's are rare and will only become more difficult to find due to the best arm talent going to MLB, as well as the college game using completely different offensive concepts than the NFL. Most college QB's have never learned how to read a defense.

Since Manning's rookie year of 1997, there have been more than 5,500 players drafted and countless undrafted free agents signed to NFL rosters.

How many Hall of Fame QB's have been produced during that time? Three? Four? That's somewhere around .0007%. How many Franchise QB's out of those 5,500 plus? 10? 12?

"Luck" is definitely the key component but at that percentage, it's nearly impossible to obtain.

I do not disagree one bit that finding a franchise QB is tough ...

I'm not against it, at all. But I don't believe that Wilson is a Franchise QB worthy of 2 first round picks and $25 million per year.

Some team will pay him but I'll be shocked if it's Seattle.
