Growing up I never thought I would favor Ford among the domestic makes, but nowadays you either buy from Government Motors, you buy from FIAT, or you can buy from Ford who didn't take a bailout and can actually make money on their own.

Yeah I don't get into all that political bullshit. I buy and drive what I like regardless of government bailouts or political opinions.

Makes me a happy consumer. I have an uncle that's union in KC. He is ****ing ridiculous with his bullshit about what you can oun or not own. So bad that it's hypocritical...

You're treated like a second class citizen if you drive anything but a Ford product in the Claycomo plant. Literally have to park in the back corners of the plant.

It's not really that bad now but I've heard some horror stories. Cars being flipped, tires slashed, keyed just a about everything.

If I had my choice of a new truck, it would be a Nissan Titan or Toyota Tundra.

BIL does not like his new Nissan as well as his 2005. Less pad in seats, does not ride as well, lesser steel, light weight.

I was warned away from the Titan BY A NISSAN SALESMAN. He said the Tundra was put together much better. Of course, he was trying to sell me a Frontier Pro-4x at the time. Maybe he was trying to gain my trust.

That is a very popular bull shit story and has been turned into legend.

Does that mean that Ford did not get any money from the governement? Hardly. Congress decided that the best alternative for Ford was to get funds from the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF), which is a government program for auto, student, and other consumer loans. These were very low-cost government loans to the tune of $5.9 billion that helped Ford tip-toe past bankruptcy and overhaul their factories to bring out more fuel-efficient technology. The Obama administration’s plans of having a million electric cars on the road by 2015 were being funneled through Ford and two other companies (Nissan and Tesla), and Ford fans had the audacity to call GM “Government Motors.”

Yeah, you can question the source, but it is true. http://www.chevyhardcore.com/news/ed...-yes-they-did/

That's because ford just tells their customers to **** off when there are issues in shit.

60-100k and motors just shell even when being serviced on the maintenance schedule at dealerships? Something is ****ing wrong, but do they help people out at that point? **** no.

I've replaced over 50 5.4 3v's they are shit.
