Chiefs Predict the rest of the season - Page 6

So I figure if we lose next week to the Vikings - we will see Daniel start against the Steelers - if we lose that game - I could see them pulling the plug on everything established and go with Murray against the Lions. Why the Lions game? Because it's at a neutral venue against a terrible team. HE should be able to build some confidence in that game.

If we beat the Vikings but Smith is still not leading the offense the way it should be I still think we see Daniel against the Steelers.

If Smith, by some miracle, has a breakout game I think we are stuck with him until the bye. If he can keep up the good performances then he is the starter the rest of the way.

I really don't see him making it past the Vikings. I have a terrible feeling we are in for a long two game stretch. I would love to see Daniel try and make something of our season at 1-5 but I doubt it happens.

Two "no tape on this QB"-victories, and it's all over. And you better pick Cleveland and one Oakland game to do so.

And that might not even help you with Oakland.

We'll lose to the Vikings and the Steelers. We'll beat the Lions but it'll be close and it'll come down to the Lions ****ing up and hurting themselves more than the Chiefs "winning" the game. I expect no fewer than 5 combined turnovers.

We'll be 2-6 at the break.

Then, after the bye: Denver rolls us, the Chargers eek one out (maybe Andy should just start Chase for this game given his track record against San Diego), and the Bills will dominate in a low scoring game that looks way closer than it ever was.

Somehow we'll pull it out against the Raiders in Oakland AND the Chargers at home. Fans will be flipping out and there will be a "new energy" around 1 Arrowhead Drive. We'll be 4-9 and people will actually be ****ing excited about it.

Then the Ravens will beat us by 21. But, then, hey we'll take the Browns in our only blowout of the year (Final: 38-3, Chiefs). But then the goddamn ****ing Raiders will own our souls and our assholes at home and we'll end the season on a terrible loss that will taint the entire off season and make me not give two shits about football next year.

Final 2016 record: 5-11. Go mother****ing Chiefs. I guess.
