As long as Alex Smith is just a placeholder then he's fine for another year. He's a team guy and won't cause problems.

If we still don't have a plan than that's a problem whether AS is here or not.

They better have a ****ing plan that includes drafting a QB next year and playing Murray after the bye week to find out if the guy is just wasting a roster spot, can fill in for Daniel or has the potential of starting in the league.

Smith is a solid Hasselbeck type mentor/clipboard holder at this point.

They need to get the long term answer in here this next draft.
