There are some racist people that go to MU.

The administration was not very helpful in helping minority people that were affected by said racists.

Some school groups tried to get things changed, were ignored.

Football team said they won't play until things changed. Change started post haste.

KU asswipes and people that didn't know anything piled into thread to try to make themselves feel better for the shit that they would rather not talk about that affects them.

Only thing left out of both of those narratives is that shit has, evidently, been screwy around Mizzou for a while, and there was a pretty heavy dislike toward the President and general sentiment that he wasn't very competent. And that was from a lot of different fronts and areas, not just the racial issues.

- Team protests although some players secretly still want to play. Coach and AD support it because it would be stupid not to.
- Stupid shit is posted on CP after people read a few headlines and now think they are experts about life on MU campus. God they are stupid.
- President resigns and protest is over.
- Stupud shit continues to be posted.

In the mix of that, everyone protests because they are pissed at the school for a variety of reasons. Vailpass posts shit about Ferguson, and shows he has no clue.

Bad shit happens on a ton of campuses. ND has covered up rapes and an old guy sexually molested boys on campus. People still defend the guy who let it all slide, to this day.

I guess MU is THUGU because they didn't sit back and just take it.

I know this our of tune with the tone of this thread but I really hope this moves things towards a more peaceful learning environment and soon. College is supposed to be peaceful place to study - not this crap. Students in college should bitch about workload and cafeteria food.
