Would you rather make the playoffs, or get a top 10 first round pick?

Would you rather the Chiefs squeak into the playoffs with our somewhat anemic offense and pray it's not a 1 and done. Or get a top 10 pick for Dorsey to draft who knows who?

I think this is a dumb thread. I'm probably dumb for posting in it. Playoffs always over a risk of a bust.

playoffs no doubt.

had the Chiefs not won their last 4 games I would say tank the season, shoot for #1 overall pick.

that's no longer the case and the Chiefs have had some help too, the afc across the board is crap this season...there's NE, CIN, DEN, and then everyone else and there is a lot of football left to play and the Chiefs have the tiebreaker over PIT, and play a few teams that are also in the mix so they have a great chance to control their own destiny as long as they win, and will separate themselves from the rest of the pack and climb up that playoff seed ladder. Denver could collapse still, though it's unlikely..so there's a slight chance that Chiefs could win out and win the division which would be ****ing awesome.

I know this, I'd rather play at DEN in the playoffs. This team knows they can win there. I think that @DEN win erased whatever ghosts and bad dreams they had from that Thurs night game loss earlier in the year. Manning is finished. Not sold on the Brock hype yet.

Playoffs every time.

We've had a slough of top ten picks the past few years. Are any of them besides Fisher still on the team?

Top ten doesn't mean squat if a) the incoming class is weak and b) we pick the wrong player. We've done better picking between 11 and 18 than we have 01-10 over the past two decades.

Either try to win or quit trying altogether.

The Giants beat undefeated New England in '07 as a 5th seed WC, and again in '11 as a 9-7 4th-seed division winner. And there are shitloads of top ten picks who flame out.

Does it really need to be 1st round?

If we got a top 10 pick it wouldn't matter. Goff and Lynch will go top 5 no question.

Yes, it basically needs to be first round.

We drafted Brodie Croyle and then treated him like a 1st round pick. That can't happen when you get to the middle rounds.

I'm going to go playoffs....just because this FO has already shown me that they won't draft a QB when they have a pick that high.

People really need to get this 'high pick for a QB' out of their heads. It doesn't need to be a high pick.

Just find one and develop him.

No, it does not. RG3 is all but done, and we all thought he was special. Even Luck has regressed.

I'll mention Russel Wilson again and D. Carr looks pretty good so far.

Yeah, it's just so easy to replace a guy that has 90 sacks and is stout against the run. They're a dime a dozen.
