I only drink Shatto Egg Nog, but since the nearest store that carries it is 140 miles away, nowadays, I just do without.

I have one question: Doesn't the dairy go bad? Not the eggs so much but milk and cream? Or does the alcohol preserve it or just hide the rotted milk?

Bacteria can't survive if it's alcoholic enough. So no, it won't go bad. The alcohol preserves it.
