You play sports to make your mark, to hopefully become legendary. If Im Golden State and I go 73-9 and lose the NBA championship I would covet that record more than actually winning it last year. Why? Ppl win the championship every year. Nobody has went 73-9 before. Those are my same thoughts with our conference championships streak. We are chasing UCLAs streak of 13. If we can do that, more ppl are going to remember that than winning a natl title or a final four. I didnt think much about it when we were at 5 or 6, because i didnt really think it was a reality but now it is.

I do. Graham is going to be much more valuable to this program than Wiggins was. Thats just a fact. Hes going to be AMAZING his senior year and we get his production &consistency for 4. If we arent going to play guys like Diallo and Alexander, stop recruiting them. Go for the Izzo blueprint instead

Not if they make a run and end up in the Final Four. Then I dont think any KU fan would give 2 shits about losing to KY. The whole tradition vs tradition angle is just really overblown in my opinion. I understand the connections/history/all time wins etc. But I'm just glad a power program outside of the Big12 is willing to play at Allen Fieldhouse for a non-con game. I'd love to see Duke play there, or esp UNC and have Roy come back but that will never happen.
