Remember, West Virginia has been playing without their second leading rebounder and post player. So it was marginally easier tonight for our bigs compared to when we played them in Morgantown. Also, Lucas is only one game removed from being outplayed by Kstate's bigs. He still looked slow and soft with the ball. We'll see if he really turned a corner or not on Saturday.

I have no doubt Lucas will go back to the guy we remembered. But, I can hope.

The blowout makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than going in and losing a hard-fought close game.

It was the end of a long stretch of exhausting games against a nothing opponent on the road. There's no surprise the team just simply didn't show up for it.

Well he's not going to suddenly stop being Landen Lucas because he blocked a few shots, but you've got to respect what he produced against the best offensive rebounding team in the country (and Devin Williams/Elijah Macon are tough enough to deal with in that regard by themselves). If he gains confidence from such a game, great. It's beyond clear by now we're not going to be getting much from Diallo or Bragg this season (as neither can still guard at all).
