The KU conference title run is historic just like coach K's National Championships are. Do you know why? Because no one else can do that shit. Something like this happens once every few generations and then it becomes history. Everyone remembers Gonzaga's streak and that was in a shitty mid-major conference. Everyone remembers UCLA's streak and that happened when Wooden had salaried players on his teams.

Your recruiting take is laughable. Kids aren't choosing UK over KU because of meaningless wins. They're choosing UK because Cal is the best recruiter in the history of the game. What was Memphis winning when he was getting the Derrick Roses and Tyreke Evanses of the world? Come on, man.

If KU somehow manages to win the Conference 13 or 14 times in a row, that's UNPARALLELED. That's not repeatable. That's history and that's tradition. ****ing Butler can get to Final Fours. Kentucky, the best program in the nation, can't consistently win their shitty to average league and get bounced from the first round of the NIT with a roster full of NBA players.

They are overrated based on perception. When are they the #1 rated conference consecutive years in a row? People think of the Big 12 football as this second powerful conference to the SEC, but IMO its just not true. Baylor and TCU are the definition of soft. The Big 10 and Pac 12 are both better, although Id put the Big 12 over the ACC. Fortunately for us its bball has been very strong. Plus the Big 12 football struggles have extended to the regular nonconference season slate, whereas thr B12 in bball comes just short of dominating in theirs.
