It's still possible that OU could have the better overall resume than KU depending on how the two teams finish. Might take OU winning out, but they're capable of it.

Yeah, glancing at schedules, I'd say it's pretty clear that it'll be Kansas or Villanova.... personally, I think quality wins say more than bad losses (to an extent, of course), so one bad loss shouldn't hurt KU when they have the better SoS by 20 spots, more wins against the top 50 and against the top 25, and Villanova being 1-3 against the top 25 in Sagarin. The same reasoning could put OU in, but of course they were swept by Kansas, so I'd think OU would have to win out and either beat them in the B12 tournament or go much further.

The Jayhawks are 9–1 with Lucas as the starter, and their lineup efficiency data from that stretch, which I’ve pulled from hooplens.com, is strong evidence of the impact of the Ellis-Lucas frontcourt. KU has been a staggering 0.23 points per possession better while using that combo, compared to all other situations:

Landen Lucas, defensive stopper.

His biggest issue was consistency and finishing the easy buckets. He's been pretty good at that. His defense is solid and his rebounding is good. I wish he'd be a little more aggressive on offense sometimes (see Baylor game) but overall he's provided a good lift. I'm glad that he's improved enough to become a reliable starter.
