Now you got it.

As much as anyone could hate this draft, even the biggest haters could agree on a few things.

1. At least we didn't draft a kicker in the 2nd round. Trade up to do it no less. He's not even that good beyond 40.
2. Dorsey at least gives a shit. Bill Belichick clearly no longer gives a shit and just wanted a Final Fantasy 7 character real bad. Guess Cloud Strife had already been selected.

I love our 2nd round pick. I'm loving that were drafting a lot of corners because we need them in a passing league. Like the potential of the WR we took. The only pick I didn't like was the off-field baggage returner.

Ya he sure missed on the diamond in the open last year with Peters didn't he?

I agree and I'm conflicted because do you say this person screwed up and ostracize him forever, OR to give him a chance to rehabilitate himself and put strict expectations, responsibilities, and conditions for him to meet and reform his behavior. Life isn't just about black and white, and if there's even a whisper of drama, send him packing knowing in good conscience you tried and remained firm in your expectation of acceptable behavior as a representative of the franchise. Strictly dealing out old testament punishment doesn’t benefit society or potentially break that cycle of behavior if you can never redeem yourself.

You would love having Jerry Jones as an owner....

What you just posted is a blueprint on how to NOT build a team.

KC just won 11 straight with it's two best players being injured...good thing Dorsey thought about depth and building a solid foundation...

Chiefs have never made a move that didn't give you a prostate orgasm so I take your opinion accordingly.

Great point to except I never claimed he misses all of them.

I wasn't a fan of the Fisher pick (though I was just happy we passed on Joeckel). I didn't like the Dunta Robinson signing. I didn't like the Alex Smith trade at all. Hated the Morse pick till I watched his tape. Thing is, other than that there hasn't been much to bitch about, and I was wrong more often than not when I did. I learned my lesson to trust Dorsey, but you obviously haven't.

We had 9 ****ing picks and swung for the fence with just about every single one, but your dumb ass somehow thinks we didn't get better at all.

And likewise, the Chiefs have never drafted a player that made you happy, either.

I used to think that during the "Dark Days", you had a critical eye but now that the Chiefs are beyond that, I've realized that you were either trolling, uninformed, myopic, uncaring or a combo of all of the above.

Either way, you've become a troll that should be ignored.

Sad.

I think you have to take the existing team into consideration when deciding whether you're building a foundation, shoring up depth, or looking to push a team that last mile.

This team may currently be best suited for that final push. Contracts and age are going to start tearing this current team down. Can you realistically expect to replace Hali, DJ, Charles, Berry, etc with 3rd and 4th round picks? When picking in the 20s instead of the 10s? Are the Chiefs going to miss a window to be great because they are too concerned with not being bad?

Everybody wants something different from their sports team, but there was a time when a lot of Chiefs fans were sick of the Marty Schottenheimer good but never great routine. Maybe the post Vermeil era has changed that mindset and fans are now content with a playoff team that's not quite a superbowl team.

Very solid class. Filled a lot of holes, some quality depth, and took some chances on some high ceiling guys in later rounds. If they pan out, great. If they don't, cut em and move on.

Can't really complain about much from this draft class, at this point.

I'm all for second chances, but he shouldn't have been eligible for the draft. He should have to go do something else.

That's the art of being a good GM...Charles was replaced by no name players..TWO of them. I'm still on the side that KC should have picked Jack and let him learn behind DJ while he rehabs....but KC got a lot of value for not taking him.

Dorsey knows more than I or anyone here...I thought 3 CBs was a little obsessive but we'll see how it plays out. I guess losing S.Smith/Gaines taught him a lesson.....

Watching Jamel Fleming, Marcus Cooper and Tyvonn Branch get the Marcellus Wallace treatment made Dorsey do this.

Those guys were a disaster at CB as well as Chris Owens and Dunta Robinson the 2 years before them. It had to be fixed.
