Also, Auston Matthews is getting Eric Lindros (Flyers fan here) type hype. I'm going to have to watch some film on this guy.

A kid from the American South West, a freaking Coyotes season ticket holder, selected as the hopes and dreams of Canada's biggest hockey market. It's quite a story. It shows the growth of U.S. hockey. 5 freaking guys from the St. Louis drafted in the first round! 12 overall. And Kane just won the Hart Trophy.

Personally I think Stamkos is going to DET.

I would have liked to see Matthews go to Arizona. That might be the foothold that market needs to stay around into the near future.
