What's kind of weird is that a lot of contenders have serious BP issues. The Indians as we know, are one of them. The Cubs BP is no good and honestly, the Giants BP is so bad I'm shocked they have as big a lead as they do. Oh and the Nats BP is no '15 royals either. This post season may go down as a war of BP attrition

I still think they are the weakest of all the division leaders.

This is why I love game threads. I missed the game tonight because the wife dragged me to a wine tasting party. Came home and decided to read through the game thread to see how it went. The roller coaster of emotions in a game thread make for fun reading.

GT's are the best! I'll be the first to admit, I get dramatic at times. But it's always fun to see when Other people do it. My favorites tonight happened after Colon's clutch hit. He got thrown out at third which obviously sucked but there was about 5 or 6 comments in a row about bad base running and free outs and etc. before someone mentioned, oh by the way, he tied the game in a huge ****ing spot! It was funny

Speaking of terrible bullpens, our buddies over on the White Sox just wasted an absolute gem by Chris Sale. 8IP 1 hit only at 100 pitches. Leaves at 3-0. Robertson gives up 4 in the 9th. Lol

I was thinking pretty much all of the above posts that you quoted. Especially Chitown's "club a baby seal" comment . Today's game ****ing sucked.. it was lost, it was a perfectly-fitting game for this team at this point in the season..


And then Kluber's leg cramped. Like WTF? That is Royals Devil Magic at its best. Then Colon. Colon made Royals nation go from "oh god.." to "OH MY ****ING GOD" during the minute-moment between pulling his bunt back and ****ing parking the ball (I will refrain from any more comments about his stupid base running). Paulo goes from looking lost all night to bringing home the go-ahead run? Not even to mention that Jarrod Dyson.. JARROD. MOTHER****ING. DYSON...

This team is so god-damned inconsistent and up and down, but this year has had many good moments in it.. the comeback vs Washington, the comeback in the 9th Vs the Sux, and sweeping the Sux in that same series while coming back almost instinctually in every game.


God I'm pumped. I look forward to flying into KC tomorrow morning.
