Alex Smith helps the defense. I told you that when I first got here and you laughed at me telling me how the Chiefs don't have a top 10 defense. Not turning the ball over and making sure every drive results in s kick (punt, xp, fga) is critical. Winning the field position battle is critical. All things Alex excels at.
