Someone had a video of gaines trying to cover conley and he struggled to change direction. Looks like he's not back healthy yet or doesn't trust his knee

Only 2 weeks in real football coming back from a big injury. I think it will take at least a month and some game action to get back into it for Gaines.

Either all of our guys are recovering slower than average, or we are just being cautious with everybody because they feel good about the depth on this team, and feel the important thing is having everybody healthy down the stretch.

Which makes more sense?

No two people are the same. Gaines is the youngest of the group, so it makes sense that he's a bit ahead of Charles but that doesn't mean that's he's 100%, either.

Houston's injury was probably the worst of the bunch so the longer this drags on, the further back his return becomes, IMO.

Then, there's the legitimate question of whether or not he'll be the same once he does return.

Lots of unanswered questions.

Here's the thing though, they're doing the same thing with Hali. You mean to tell me he's not ready to go after 7 months?

It's pretty obvious to me that they're being cautious with everybody.

That's my point. It's been 7 months, and they're treating him like he's still not close to 100%. If you can't see the pattern, I don't know what to tell you. I mean, it's clear as day.

Dorsey just said a week ago that he expects Charles and Hali to play week 1.
