I really agree that Denver's defense is good enough to carry them to 10 wins this year. Their schedule isn't that bad, either.

I still think KC wins the division, Oakland in 3rd.

But at this point, who freaking knows?

It's a rare season that passes without significant injury. So, assuming significant injury, I still like their chances to finish with at least nine wins. I'll enjoy division games this season more than I have in recent years.

So as I went buzzing through this thing I realized I have some seriously strong pre-conceived notions as to a few of these teams.

Sadly, I have us losing to the goddamn Patriots in the Divisional round again. Couldn't quite pull off the first round bye, it would appear. But I've also way overshot on both Cincy and Pittsburgh. There's no way either of those teams end up with that record, let alone both of them. I clearly have a very high opinion of the AFCN.

Poor Brownies at 0-16.

The issue with these predictors is that you have to assume each team will play to their full potential. So it favors the great teams and the teams you think will be bad get no benefit of the doubt.

I just reran this using current records and how the teams are currently playing. I still have the Chiefs winning the division at 13-3 with SD, Den, and Oak all at 8-8. New England gets HFA and Chiefs get the other bye. Hou and Cin are the other division winners. If it plays out like I predicted, we will plat Piit first, then go to NE.
