Hell, that is why I regard Marino's records above all the record breaking QBs today. Marino did it when the DBs could absolutely mug WRs,

You are 100% correct. Marino might have thrown for 6k in today's NFL.

It also makes what his receivers did that much more impressive. Clayton and Duper weren't huge guys.
