What has happened to our dear friend staylor26?

Defender of Chiefs Kingdom, Lord of the Homers, and The White Knight of the Red Sea, has forsaken his peoples!

Verily, he hath not posted upon these lands since Sunday!

Last seen:

Shitting on Paxton Lynch

No posts during the Chiefs game, no posts after.

Is the embarrassment too much for him?

There's a good chance he saw this thread and logged off. I don't know why he would need to feel embarrassed though. I know many don't like him, but he's a homer. He's doing what homers are supposed to do. Clay knows damn well that if this team rips off 5-6 wins in a row that the board will be back to cyberstoning him. You have to have thick skin to be a big player on this site.

Staylor (and others) keep this board interesting. I second your thoughts, Dane.

You're a homer too. That's not an insult coming from me. Right now, I'm a homer. I'm just saying, the differences in opinion is what keeps this board interesting.

Hark! I have received a Raven from Maester Michael of House Modly. We have word of Lord Staylor. He lives, though perhaps in fear for his life

Quote:
I saw our little lord in a tavern near Three Rivers Hall. He sat quietly in a corner, nursing a flagon of ale. Sir Ben was also there, drunkenly cavorting with three whores. A knight I recognized as your own Sir Smith approached his table, though with no intent to antagonize. It appeared he simply wished to make his acquaintance.

The Lord of Three Rivers stank with wine, however. He took the approach as a challenge, seized upon Sir Smith's person and dragged him into the courtyard. A large parade of onlookers from the tavern followed, cheering him on. Sir Staylor watched from a window, shaking with fear.

I will not describe in detail the foul acts which followed. Suffice it to say, Sir Ben confirmed the rumors about Sir Smith's status as a eunuch, and then mounted him as a hound might. He even went for two.

Finished with his disgusting conquest, Sir Ben then gazed upon our little lord, his red finery betraying him as a supporter of House Arrowhead. His intentions were clear. Sir Staylor let out a shriek and fled for the safety of the nearby forest. That was the last I saw of him.

Dude's got nothing to feel bad or embarrassed about, unless he was out there playing Sunday night. Nothing wrong with having faith and optimism in your team.

.. and best wishes for anyone dealing with Mathew coming at them.

Perhaps a lively tune may be more to your lord's liking?

Bravely bold Staylor
Rode forth from Arrowhead
He was not afraid to die
Oh, brave Staylor
He was not at all afraid
To be trolled in nasty ways
Brave, brave, brave, brave Staylor

He was not in the least bit scared
To watch on Sunday night
Or to have his Chiefs blowed out
And his spirit broken
To have his QB hit
And his passes thrown away
And his team all hacked and mangled
Brave Staylor

His line smashed in
And his Gaines inactive
And his hope removed
And his shoulders shrugged
And his defense raped
And his corners burnt up
And his penis split and his...

"That's... that's enough football for now, lads."

Brave Staylor ran away
Bravely ran away away

When Pittsburgh reared its ugly head
He bravely watched porn instead

Yes, brave Staylor turned about
And gallantly began to pout

Bravely taking to CP
He posted not, our lil' Chiefy

Bravest of the brave, bold Staylor!

“I looked for you at the Steelers' game,” GoChiefs said to them.

“We were not there,” Ser RunKC answered.
“Woe to the Drafturbators if we had been,” said Ser Cochise.

“When the Chiefs fell behind by 36, Ser Roethlisberger slew your defense with deep throws, and I wondered where you were.”

“Far away,” Ser RunKC said, “or Alex would yet manage the game, and the Chiefs would have won 17-14.”

“I came down on Houston to highlight Smith's inaccuracy,” GoChiefs told them, and the Lords Maverick and Sandy Cheeks dipped their banners, and all their knights bent the knee to pledge us fealty. I was certain you would be among them.”

“Our knees do not bend easily,” said Ser Staylor.

“Ser BossChief is fled to Iowa, with Bray and Prince Foles. I thought you might have sailed with him.”

“Ser BossChief is a good man and true,” said Ser Cochise.
“But not of the TrueFanGuard,” Ser RunKC pointed out. “The TrueFanGuard does not flee.”
“Then or now,” said Ser Staylor. He donned his helm.
“We swore a vow,” explained old Ser RunKC.

GoChiefs' wraiths moved up beside him, with shadow swords in hand. They were seven against three.

“And now it begins,” said Ser Staylor, the Sword of Conservative Passing Concepts. He unsheathed Checkdown and held it with both hands. The blade was pale as Elmer's glue, alive with mediocrity.

“No,” Clay said with sadness in his voice. “Now it ends.”
